Terms of Service

DealToDriver provides personal car buying and leasing consulting. The service includes dealer research, dealer outreach, negotiation of price and deal terms, and guidance through vehicle signing or delivery. All services are performed personally by Jason ("Jay"), founder of DealToDriver. The total flat fee for an engagement is $400: a $100 start fee and a $300 delivery fee.

The $100 start fee puts DealToDriver to work on the client's deal. Work begins within twenty-four (24) hours of payment — dealer outreach, market research, and negotiation on the client's behalf. Because the service is rendered through time, expertise, and industry relationships, the start fee is non-refundable once work begins, except as provided in the Best-Offer Guarantee below. Clients who change their mind within 2 hours of payment, before any dealer outreach has begun, may request a full refund.

If the client provides a bona fide written competing offer for the same vehicle and deal structure, and DealToDriver is unable to beat it, the client is entitled to a full refund of the $100 start fee. This refund applies only when a written competing offer has been provided to DealToDriver; it does not apply where the client declines to share an offer in writing, withdraws from the engagement, or chooses not to proceed with a deal that beats the offer provided.

The remaining $300 is due the day the client takes delivery of the vehicle — not a dollar before. If DealToDriver secures a deal within the parameters the client agreed to in consultation and the client chooses not to move forward, the delivery fee remains due as compensation for the work performed, and the client may be invoiced directly. Payment is expected within 48 hours of delivery or invoice.

Beyond the Best-Offer Guarantee above, DealToDriver provides professional consulting, not a guaranteed financial outcome. Final deal terms depend on market conditions, vehicle availability, dealer flexibility, manufacturer incentives, and the client's own flexibility on specifications, timing, and location. Most clients realize meaningful savings, but no specific dollar amount or percentage is promised.

The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding budget, vehicle preferences, credit situation, trade-in details (if applicable), and timeline. Good consulting depends on good information: outcomes affected by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client remain the client's responsibility and do not alter the fee obligations under these terms.

By accepting these terms and completing payment, the client agrees not to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal against DealToDriver for consulting services rendered — the Best-Offer Guarantee above is the agreed path for a refund. The timestamped acceptance of these terms, the payment record, and written communication records constitute the client's informed consent to the service and its fee structure, and any chargeback filed in violation of this clause will be contested with that documentation. The client may be held liable for associated dispute and administrative costs.

DealToDriver is an independent consulting service. Jay is not a licensed automobile dealer, automobile broker, or financing agent. DealToDriver accepts no compensation, kickbacks, referral fees, or finance-rate spread from any dealership, manufacturer, or lending source. The flat $400 consulting fee paid by the client is the sole compensation received for any engagement.

These Terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to this engagement shall be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located within the State of New York.
